This Privacy Policy explains how Algo Trading Labs ("we", "us", or "the Application") accesses, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our algorithmic trading, backtesting, and content-publishing tools. By using the Application you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Trading account data

Zerodha Kite Connect API credentials (API key and session access tokens) used to place and manage orders on your behalf.
Order, position, trade, and profit-and-loss data generated by your trading activity.
Strategy configuration you define (instruments, quantities, stop-loss and entry parameters).

1.2 Google and YouTube account data

When you authorize the Application with your Google account, we request access through Google OAuth 2.0 to the following YouTube Data API scopes:

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload — to upload videos to your YouTube channel.
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.force-ssl — to manage videos, metadata, and related resources on your channel.

Using these scopes, we may access your YouTube channel identity (channel name and ID) and the videos and metadata associated with channels you own or manage, solely to publish and manage content that you or our automated pipelines create.

2. How We Use Information

To authenticate you with Zerodha Kite and Google services.
To execute, monitor, and manage trading strategies you have configured.
To upload and manage videos on YouTube channels you own or operate.
To display dashboards, summaries, and backtesting results to you.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to providing the features you have requested.

Google API Services — Limited Use Disclosure

Algo Trading Labs' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not transfer or sell Google user data to third parties, do not use it for advertising, and only use it to provide and improve the user-facing features described in this policy. Human access to Google user data is restricted to what is necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or with your explicit consent.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share your Google or trading data with third parties except:

With service providers strictly necessary to operate the Application (e.g., Google APIs, Zerodha Kite Connect).
When required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

4. Data Storage and Security

OAuth tokens and session credentials are stored securely and used only to perform the actions you authorize.
Trading session tokens are held with limited time-to-live and refreshed as needed.
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

5. Data Retention and Revocation

We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the Application's features. You may revoke the Application's access to your Google account at any time via Google Account permissions. Revoking access stops all further data access and disables YouTube publishing on your behalf. You may similarly revoke Zerodha Kite access from your broker account.

6. Children's Privacy

The Application is intended for use by adults engaged in financial trading and content publishing. It is not directed at children under the age of 18.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
